Sea Buckthorn Oil is in a league of its own.  The botanical name for this plant is Hippophae Rhamnoides and the origin of the name is fascinating because the name Hippophae means (Hippo) horse (phae) shine as it makes the horses hair shine.  Genghis Khan also stated it gave a war horse greater energy when the berries were included in its diet.  Unfortunately it is grown at an altitude of 2,500 - 4,200 meters above sea level and usually in the Himalayas.  This CO2 extracted berry oil is the only oil that has Omega 3, 6 and 9 Essential Fatty Acids.  Outside of the minerals and nutrients, this incredible oil contains Vitamins a and C, several of the B group and Vitamin E in abundant supply.
